What we cater

We've been the kitchen behind a lot of boardrooms, AGMs, and end-of-quarter parties.

Saint John runs on meetings. Some of our longest-running clients are companies whose Wednesday board lunch we've been delivering for years. Others come to us once a year for the holiday party.

What's consistent across all of it: a menu costed in advance, dietary needs handled without a fuss, and food that doesn't taste like it sat in foil for two hours — because it didn't.

Four formats we run most weeks

Pick what fits the room and the agenda — we'll handle the rest.

Boxed individual meals

Each guest gets a sealed, labelled box: main, side, salad, dessert. Allergen flags on every lid. Ideal for training days, conferences, and anything with a tight room turnover.

From 10 to 400+
— Format 02

Buffet lunches

Two hot mains, three sides, a composed salad, fresh bread, dessert. Set up on chafers with heat lamps if needed; held safely for ninety minutes of active service.

From 25 to 250
— Format 03

Cocktail receptions

Passed canapés and grazing stations for client launches, opening nights, and after-work events. Bar partnerships available; we can run food only or full F&B.

From 30 to 300
— Format 04

Formal dinners

Plated dinners for board retreats, milestone celebrations, and donor events. Three or four courses, fired in our travel kitchen and plated on-site.

What a recurring client looks like

The Wednesday board lunch.

One of our long-running corporate clients holds a board lunch every Wednesday at 12:15. Twelve people, sometimes fifteen, sometimes nine. Three rotating mains across the month so nobody gets bored. Two allergies on the list — one nut, one shellfish — flagged on every container.

We arrive at 11:50. The food is set up by 12:05. We leave a printed menu card on the credenza so the room knows what they're eating, and we collect the platters at 1:30. The board doesn't think about lunch. That's the job.

Most of our weekly corporate work looks like this — quiet, reliable, on the clock.
